Download and review Top 6 Minecraft Shaders for 1.16.4 (2021)
Minecraft’s graphics are starting to feel their age a bit, so adding a shader pack helps give the game a much needed boost in the visuals.
Minecraft is a pretty scenic game, so if you want to make some of the visuals a bit more awe inspiring, then you’re going to want to add a shader. While these aren’t recommended for people with slower PCs, there are some that should work for you even if you don’t have the most powerful machine. Without further ado, here’s a look at the best shaders for Minecraft in version 1.16!
Best Minecraft Shaders
1. BSL
BSL is another good option if you’re looking for a shader to try out that will give you a more realistic feel to your game. It gives your water an upgrade, as well as giving things a more ethereal feel overall by adding a bit of haze to distant objects. There’s a nice cloudy sky and you just get a nice overall feel right out of the box.

2. Chocapic13’s Toaster Edition
If you’re looking for a shader that is a bit lighter on the resources for your possibly low end PC then this is one of the best! You can get some beautiful lighting, clouds, and night displays with Chocapic13’s Toaster Edition shader.
The only reservation I have about this shader is that it doesn’t change the water, which is one of my favorite details when it comes to shaders. However, if you’ve got a low end PC and want some better looking lighting, this is one of your top options!
3. VanillaPlus
This shader is a lot more subtle than the previously listed BSL Shader, but can also be customized a great deal. If you want a heightened but traditional feel to the game, then this is worth checking out.
