Botany Pots Mod 1.16.5,1.16.4 and 1.15.2 is a mod that will allow us to manufacture new types of pots that, beyond being used as decorative elements in indoor and outdoor areas, will allow us to grow all kinds of crops and offer us more functionalities than the default pots.

The mod will also allow us to manufacture a new type of hopper, called “Hopper Botany Pot”, that will take care of harvesting any crop when ready and transport it to any chest that we place next to the pot. So you can simply automate your crops.

Another exciting function offered by these new pot variants is that after collecting a crop, both manually and through the mod’s new hopper, the seeds of the crop we have just collected will be automatically planted.

How to install Botany Pots Mod With Forge

1. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge
2. Download Botany Pots Mod file from link(s) below/above
3. On PC Windows, Go to the Start menu

Type:  %appdata%/.minecraft

Press Enter to Run %appdata%/.minecraft

4. On macOS open finder, hold down ALT, and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
5. Go to minecraft/mods folder

If Mods folder does not exist, create one

6. Put Botany Pots Mod file into the mods folder
7. Launch Minecraft using Forge Profile, then Open Menu
8. Now we can find tea trees in Minecraft!

Getting Started

First you need to craft the Botany Pot. Then you must think about the type of crop you want to grow and the soil it grows in. There are many kinds of soil blocks and certain crops will need certain soils. A good example of this is wheat growing in dirt and nether wart growing in soul sand. Once you have the soil and seed for your crop simply right click the block with your soil and then your seed. This will start the growth process for your crop. The crop may take a while to grow, you can speed it up by right clicking with bone meal and other fertilizers. Once the crop is done growing right click it to harvest and automatically plant another. To remove items from the botany pot you can sneak and right click the block with an empty hand. Breaking the block will also work.

Mod Support

This mod uses predefined json files to add support for crops. These json files let you do things like define soils, fertilizers, and new crops. Mod authors and servers can easily add these files to their data packs to customize crops. Additionally users can create and share their own data packs to enable a broader range of mod support.
