Iron Chests Mod 1.18.1: More Capacity, Double Chest Compatibility, and Blast Resistance
Iron Chests Mod 1.18.1 adds Iron chests to the game that are better than vanilla chests in that they have more capacity and can be placed next to each other, eliminating the need for a 1-block gap seen with double chests. Iron Chests Mod also adds Iron Drawers which are essentially Iron Chest drawers on top of Iron chest blocks, an Iron Safe which is an iron chest surrounded by obsidian allowing it to resist blasts from explosions, and even Iron Sink which is just a sink made out of Iron!

Additionally, when you place two opposite directionally- respective single chest blocks together without any gaps between them -only Obsidian versions will reject blasts instead harmful particles like fire or water pressure wave attacks from happening on top its content (this does not apply if there’s already something inside).This Mod is an incredible mod that adds tons of new chests to the game in addition top quality iron ones. How to install:
- Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge 1.18
- Locate the minecraft application folder.
- On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
- On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
