To the Bat Poles 1.16.5, 1.15.2, 1.14.4, and 1.13.2 offer us the possibility to use an existing element in the game, such as iron bars, to give rise to a new functional element, the descent bars. If we stack an iron rod on another iron bar, we’ll be creating a decent bar.
These descent bars are the typical metal bars of the films where firefighters descend when they receive an emergency warning. Applied to our Minecraft worlds, these bars will allow us to drop comfortably and quickly.
How these bars work is as simple as throwing your character over the descent bar. You don’t even have to press down to scroll down the descent bar. In the following video, we can see an example of how it works.

“To the Bat Poles” creates a one-way ride out of everyday iron bars!
Simply stack iron bars one-on-top-of-another to create a pole length of your choosing. Make sure the top of your pole is easily reached, jump at the pole and (provided you don’t miss) off you go!
Created for firehouse builds and Batcaves in mind, your poles are an invaluable design tool to facilitate one-way dungeon travel. For the “immersion” sticklers among you, we have provided the capability of a slow climb back up if that’s more your thing.
