Hunting Dimension Mod 1.12.2

Hunting Dimension Mod 1.12.2 is a new dimension featuring lots of mobs. You have to get portal blocks if you want to reach that dimension.

General information about the mod

This Dimensions mod by Darkhax is like an infinite field that has no caves. Its always in darkness as well as full of aggressive mobs. The mod is similar to Plains in the Overworld, so, you should enter it if you want to have a new adventure. There are some new elements in the mod, such as the Hunting Dimension, some blocks, and some items.

Because there are no caves or ores, just only eternal night, aggressive mobs have a high chance to spawn. When you get there, you must be careful, or they will attack you. To enter this dimension, you must craft some portal blocks. You have to put 8 wooden logs around an arrow for crafting those blocks. The portals frame acts similarly to the portal of the nether. You need to activate it and then enter it to explore the new dimension. Although the whole dimension is Plains by default, you can completely modify the biome via Creeping Moss.

Features of the Hunting Dimension

Here are some basic features of the modification:

Aggressive mobs: These mobs spawn in the hunting dimension all the time and they are not the same as common mobs. You see that they are equipped with armor, lots of health, and can dish out damage. However, you can change those characteristics in the config file.
Advantages of farming mobs: If you defeat mobs, you will get some loot. Also, you may get an extra amount of experience after defeating them.
Creeping Moss: When you craft this item, you can use it to modify the biome type of a chunk in the hunting dimension. After you have formed the biome you want to have, enter the dimension then click the right mouse with moss to put on the biome changes.

Firstly, make sure that you have successfully installed Minecraft Forge and Mantle Mod!
Set the right location for the Minecraft application folder
- From the Windows, please access Run on the Start Menu. Then, type %appdata% and choose the Run button.
- From the Mac Open Finder, press down Alt and Left-click on Go -> Library on the top-screen menu bar. Enter the folder Application Support and search for Minecraft!
Drop the mod Hunting Dimension that you have already downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods directory!
After you embark on Minecraft and left-click on the Mods icon, you will find Hunting Dimension is set up!
