About the Wither Skeletons in Minecraft

The Wither Skeletons are a type of creature spawning in the Nether. They look like a common Skeleton. However, their skin is much darker. It could be like dark gray and you will easily recognize them. When in Minecraft Vanilla, you must gather their skulls and the Wither Skeleton Skull. By doing so, you can call in the Wither boss. Since the skeletons are not quite outstanding, the creator of this mod has added several changes to make them more useful.

The mod includes changes and features, such as:

• There is a wither skull fragment available in the drop tables now. You can craft the fragments together for making a withered skeleton skull.
• The skeletons that appear in the Nether now become the Wither Skeletons. The skeleton will be randomly decided by the vanilla to become withered or not, which is annoying. This causes all spawned skeletons to be withered skeletons provided they are in a Hell biome.
• There are no more stone swords and bows from the drop tables of wither skeletons. Hence, there will be no more frustrating filters to cope with them.
• The mod also adds an immolation blade. Its function is to make all skeletons release wither skeleton skulls.

• Firstly, make sure that you have successfully installed Minecraft Forge and Mantle Mod!
• Set the right location for the Minecraft application folder
  • From the Windows, please access Run on the Start Menu. Then, type “%appdata%” and choose the Run button.
  • From the Mac Open Finder, press down Alt and Left-click on Go -> Library on the top-screen menu bar. Enter the folder Application Support and search for “Minecraft”!
