A new set of functional and decorative objects and blocks.

Engineer’s Decor Mod 1.12.2 => 1.16.5 focuses on offering us the possibility to manufacture blocks and decorative objects. However, the vast majority of them will also have functionalities associated with them, which we can use in our constructions. Although it’s a standalone mod, it adds content and functionality designed to work combined with Immersive Engineering.

With this mod installed, you can make tables, stools, chairs, new variants of crafting tables, concrete walls, reinforced concrete, windows, new brick blocks, treated wooden stairs, metal ladders, electric ovens, electric poles, waste incinerators, metal supports, pipes, valves, accumulators, new types of hopper, solar panels, milking machines, mineral resource foundries and a few more things.

How to install Engineer’s Decor Mod With Forge

1. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge
2. Download Engineer’s Decor Mod file from link(s) below/above
3. On PC Windows, Go to the Start menu

Type:  %appdata%/.minecraft

Press Enter to Run %appdata%/.minecraft

4. On macOS open finder, hold down ALT, and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
5. Go to minecraft/mods folder

If Mods folder does not exist, create one

6. Put Engineer’s Decor Mod file into the mods folder
7. Launch Minecraft using Forge Profile, then Open Menu
8. Now we can find tea trees in Minecraft!

The mod has its focus on decorative blocks and devices helping you to build nice looking manufacturing contraptions.

Current feature set:

Mod pack integration, forking, back ports, bug reports, testing

• Packs: If your mod pack is open source as well and has no installer, you don’t need to ask and simply integrate this mod.
• Bug reports: Yes, please let me know. Drop a mail or better open an issue for the repository.
• Pull requests: Happily accepted. Please make sure that use the develop branch for pull requests. The master branch is for release versions only. I might merge the pull request locally if I’m ahead of the github repository, we will communicate this in the pull request thread then.
• The mod config has an “include testing features” option. Enabling this causes blocks under development to be registered as well.
• Maintenance: The 1.12.2 mod version is now in maintenance state, means new features will seldom be implemented, but bugs will still be fixed if they are not small glitches.

Features:

• Clinker bricks: Slightly darker and more colorful version of the vanilla brick block. Eight position-dependent texture variations are implemented to make the wall look more “alive”. Crafted 3×3 with a brick block in the center and any combination of bricks and nether bricks around (actually, anything where the ore dictionary says it’s a “brick ingot”). Higher explosion resistance than the vanilla brick wall. Also available as stairs, crafted as usual. There is a reverse recipe to get three clinker brick blocks back from four stairs.
• Rebar (steel) reinforced concrete: Expensive but creeper-proof. Crafted 3×3 from four concrete blocks and five steel rods. Texture design oriented at the IE concrete, slightly darker, eight (position dependent) random texture variations with rust traces. Also as stairs with the usual stairs recipe.
• Concrete wall and rebar concrete wall: Solid barrier design walls (not like vanilla walls). Crafted 3×3 with six blocks (the usual wall-recipe).
• Slag bricks: Gray-brownish brick, also eight texture variations. Crafted 3×3 from slag in the center and any kind of bricks (“brick ingot”) around. Has a higher explosion resistance than the vanilla brick wall. Also available stairs, also with the reverse recipe.
• Treated wood ladder: Crafted 3×3 with the known ladder pattern, items are treated wood sticks.
• Metal rung ladder: Industrial wall-fixed ladder with horizontal bent rods. Crafted 3×3 with five iron or steel rods in a “U” pattern.
• Staggered metal steps: Industrial wall-fixed sparse ladder with steps in a zip pattern. Crafted 3×3 with six iron or steel rods in a zip pattern.
• Treated wood table: Four leg table made out of treated wood. Crafted 3×3 with three treated wood slabs and four treated wood poles. Guess the pattern.
• Treated wood pole: Pole fragment that can be placed in all directions. It does intentionally not connect to posts, fences, etc – just a straight pole. Can be used e.g. for structural support or wire relay post, where the height of the IE wire posts does not match.

5 steps to successfully install Forge Minecraft
1. Access and Download select Minecraft forge version, then download the installer.

2. Requires installing Java on a computer. Open the .jar file you just downloaded, make sure ‘Install Client’ is selected, and click the OK button.

3. Run Minecraft and select the Forge profile, then click Play.

4. Select the Minecraft Forge menu on the left and the Mods button below Multiplayer.
